Enable Water Reflection Features

GPT_RT Shaders automatically calculates reflections on water surfaces by tracing light rays across the water plane. To maximize this effect, ensure water reflection settings are enabled in your shader configuration. The mod will reflect the sky, terrain, and light sources onto water blocks in real time.

Position Light Sources Strategically

Place torches, lanterns, and other light blocks near water to see dynamic reflections. The shader traces how light bounces off the water surface, creating realistic glints and shimmer. Experiment with different light colors and positions to observe how reflections change throughout the day and night cycles.

Adjust Glossiness Settings

Some shader configurations include surface glossiness controls. Increase glossiness on water and polished blocks like dark oak wood or blackstone to see sharper, more mirror-like reflections. Lower glossiness creates duller, more diffuse reflections. Test different values in various lighting conditions to find your preferred aesthetic.
