Mechanics: Modular Pots

The Modular Pot system introduces several unique mechanics for plant growth and decoration.

Soil Layering

Before placing a plant in a Modular Pot, you must add soil. Different soils can be used, including Dirt, Sand, Soul Sand, and Grass. The soil type determines which plants can be placed inside. For example, Cacti require sand, while Nether Wart requires Soul Sand.

Flower Arrangements

The Large Pot features a 3x3 internal grid. By using a Trowel, players can precisely place plants in any of the nine slots. This allows for the creation of dense bushes, mixed flower bouquets, or miniature gardens within a single block.

Plant Sizes

Plants are categorized by size. Small plants (like mushrooms or poppies) take up one slot in a 3x3 grid. Larger plants or saplings may occupy the center slot and prevent other plants from being placed too close, depending on their bounding box.

Mechanics: Lattice and Climbing

Lattice blocks serve as both decoration and functional support for climbing plants.

• Placement: Lattice can be placed on the floor, ceiling, or walls. They will automatically connect to adjacent lattice blocks of the same type.
• Climbing: Vines and certain modded plants can be placed directly onto a lattice. Unlike vanilla vines, plants on a lattice are contained within the lattice's block space.
• Wood Types: Wood lattice is available in Oak, Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, and Dark Oak, matching vanilla wood colors.

GardenTrees Module

The GardenTrees module focuses on ornamental forestry. It introduces 'Thin Log' variants and decorative saplings.

• Ornamental Trees: These trees grow in specific patterns designed for landscaping rather than timber farming.
• Wood Posts: These are crafted from logs and function similarly to fences but can be placed in any orientation (X, Y, or Z axis), making them ideal for rafters or custom fence designs.
