Recover a Lost History Book

What the History Book Does

The History Book is a key item in FRAME DROPPED that tracks lore, events, and your encounters with anomalies. Losing it removes your progress log and makes it harder to understand the mod's narrative.

Retrieving Your History Book

If you've lost the History Book, use the debug command:

/fd/debug:item

`

This command generates a new History Book and adds it to your inventory. Use it if:

• You accidentally dropped or deleted the book
• It was lost when you died
• You need to restart your lore tracking

Protecting Your Book

Keep it in your inventory or a safe container. Don't drop it in dangerous areas where you might die and lose it.

Store a backup copy. If possible, keep a second copy in a chest at your base.

Check it regularly. The History Book updates as you encounter new events and entities, so reviewing it helps you understand the mod's progression and hidden mechanics.
