Fire’s Pokemon Data Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

Do I need any other mods besides Cobblemon for this data pack to work?
You need Cobblemon installed as the base mod. If you want to use Mega Audino, you'll also need Mega Showdown installed, but all other Pokemon work with just Cobblemon alone.
Where do I find Giratina and Palkia?
These legendary Pokemon spawn in specific biomes across your world, but they're rare encounters. Check cave systems and unusual terrain types, as legendary spawns are typically restricted to particular world generation features.
Can I find shiny versions of the added Pokemon?
Yes, shiny variants exist for all added Pokemon including Giratina. They spawn at the same rates as shiny Pokemon normally do in Cobblemon, so you'll encounter them through regular gameplay and catching.
Why aren't the new Pokemon spawning in my world?
Make sure the data pack is loaded into your world save folder and that Cobblemon is installed. You may also need to explore different biomes—each Pokemon has preferred spawn locations, so cold biomes won't have Polteageist.
How do I trigger Mega Audino in battle?
With Mega Showdown installed, Mega Audino can be triggered during battle using the Mega Evolution mechanic. Check your Mega Showdown guide for the specific battle conditions and requirements.
Do these Pokemon have different stats or abilities than standard Cobblemon versions?
This data pack adds custom models to Cobblemon, so the Pokemon use Cobblemon's standard stats and abilities. The visual appearance is what's been customized, not their gameplay mechanics.
Can I use this data pack on a multiplayer server?
Yes, the data pack can be used on multiplayer servers. All players will see the custom models, and Pokemon can be caught and traded normally between players.
Will this data pack conflict with other Cobblemon data packs?
Conflicts depend on what other data packs modify. If another pack adds the same Pokemon species, you may experience issues—test them together in a backup world first to be safe.
Are the blocky models customizable or can I use my own?
The data pack comes with its own custom blocky models. Customizing them requires editing the data pack files directly, which is beyond standard gameplay.
Do Snom and Frosmoth evolve normally, or is there something special about this data pack's versions?
They follow standard Cobblemon evolution mechanics. Snom evolves into Frosmoth just like in the base mod, with no special requirements added by this data pack.
