Track a Lost Pet's Last Location

Finding Your Pet

If a tamed animal has wandered off or disappeared, the Pet Finder feature will show you exactly where it was last seen.

1. Press H to open the pet menu

2. Click Find existing pets to load nearby tamed animals into your list

3. Select the lost pet from the roster

4. Click Locate pet

The mod will display the pet's last recorded coordinates and dimension in your chat. This works for wolves, cats, parrots, horses, donkeys, mules, and llamas.

Important Notes

The coordinates shown are the last known location where the mod recorded the pet's position. If your pet has moved since then, you'll need to search nearby. On servers with viewPolicy=EVERYONE_ALL, you can view other players' pet locations without being able to edit their family records or see private data.

If the pet is in a different dimension than your current location, travel to that dimension first before searching.
