Using the Search and Filter Tools

With many tamed animals, finding specific pets becomes easier with the built-in search and status filters.

1. Press H to open the pet menu

2. Click Find existing pets to load your animal roster

3. Use the search bar to type a pet's name or filter by characteristics

4. Use the status filters to show only living pets, only deceased pets, or all animals

Organizing Your Records

The search function helps you quickly locate individual pets by name. Status filters are especially useful for large collections—you can view your living companions separately from your pet memorial. The mod remembers deceased pets in the family tree, so filtering by "deceased" lets you review your pet history and see which animals contributed to your current lineage.

Combine search and filters together to narrow down results. For example, filter to show only living pets, then search for a specific name to find that one companion quickly.
