Give Explosive Powers to Only Certain Player Groups
Assign Permissions by Group
Open your mod's permission configuration. Most setups use a permission system that ties to player ranks or groups. Find the explosive projectile permission node and assign it only to the groups you want—for example, moderators, VIPs, or a specific PvP team.
Test Permission Levels
Log in with a test account that does not have the permission. Try throwing an explosive snowball or shooting an arrow. It should behave like a normal projectile with no blast effect.
Switch to an account with the permission and repeat. The projectile should now explode.
Restrict by World (Optional)
If you want to allow explosives in some worlds but not others, use the world-specific disable setting. List the peaceful or build-focused worlds where you want explosions turned off completely, regardless of player permissions.
This layered approach—combining player permissions with world restrictions—gives you fine control over where and who can use explosive projectiles, keeping casual players and creative builds safe while letting trusted players have their fun.
