Survive After Being Exiled to a Remote Location
Immediate Actions
When you wake up in an exile location, you'll have nothing in your inventory. Your first priority is basic survival: find trees, punch wood, and craft a crafting table and wooden tools. Look for natural shelter—caves, ravines, or terrain features you can modify quickly.
Gather Resources
Focus on stone tools, then iron. Build a small shelter and establish a furnace. Collect food from animals or crops. Don't rush—you have time to stabilize before attempting the journey home.
Navigate Back or Start Fresh
You have two options:
1. Return home: If you noted your base coordinates before exile, use them to navigate back. Craft a bed to set your spawn point partway through the journey.
2. Start over: Build a new base in your exile location. This is safer and lets you explore new terrain.
Avoid the Penalty Timer
If you die again within 30 minutes, you'll be sent to the same exile spot. Play carefully during this window—avoid dangerous mobs, lava, and risky mining until the timer expires.
