End Food for Everyone Data Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Do I need All the Trims mod for this data pack to work?
Yes, All the Trims mod is required. This data pack relies on a weapon tag from All the Trims to recognize all weapon types, so it won't function properly without it installed alongside.
What weapons can I use to get food drops from End mobs?
You can use swords, bows, staffs, shields, or any other weapon in your inventory. The data pack removes the knife requirement, so any weapon type will trigger food ingredient drops.
Which End mobs drop cooking ingredients with this data pack?
Endermen, Endermites, Shulkers, and the Ender Dragon all have updated loot tables that drop food ingredients when defeated with any weapon.
Do I still need the original End's Delight mod installed?
Yes, this is a data pack that patches End's Delight, so you must have End's Delight installed for the food ingredients and cooking system to exist.
Why am I not getting food drops from End mobs?
Check that both End's Delight and All the Trims mod are installed and enabled. If you're using a weapon that isn't recognized by All the Trims, it may not trigger the loot table.
Can I use this data pack with modpacks other than Prominence?
Yes, as long as you have End's Delight and All the Trims mod installed, the data pack will work with any modpack or custom setup.
Does the Ender Dragon drop different food than other End mobs?
The Ender Dragon has its own updated loot table in this data pack, but the specific ingredients it drops depend on End's Delight's base configuration.
Do I need to do anything special to activate the data pack?
No special activation is needed beyond installing it with End's Delight and All the Trims. The loot table changes apply automatically when you enter the End.
Can I use a bow to farm Shulker ingredients?
Yes, bows are fully supported. You can use a bow to defeat Shulkers and collect their food ingredient drops just like with any other weapon.
Will this data pack affect food drops from non-End mobs?
No, this data pack only modifies loot tables for End dimension mobs—Endermen, Endermites, Shulkers, and the Ender Dragon.
