Switch Between Performance Profiles

Access the Shader Settings

Open your shader options menu while in-game. This is typically found in Options > Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options, though the exact path may vary depending on your mod loader.

Choose Your Profile

Elytrune Shaders offers three performance tiers:

• Low Profile: Best for older hardware or when you need maximum frame rate. Reduces shadow detail and water effects while maintaining the warm, recognizable aesthetic.
• Medium Profile: Balanced approach. Keeps most visual features while running smoothly on mid-range systems.
• High Profile: Full visual experience with detailed shadows, reflections, and water waves. Requires stronger GPU and CPU.

Apply and Test

Select your desired profile and apply the changes. The shader will reload—this takes a few seconds. Once complete, explore your world to check frame rate and visual quality. If performance is still unsatisfactory, drop to a lower tier. If your system handles it well, try upgrading for richer visuals.

You can switch profiles at any time without restarting your game, making it easy to find the sweet spot for your hardware.
