Use Updated Chests on Boats and Minecarts

Placing Chests on Transportation

The Dungeons Chest Resource Pack updates chest models everywhere they appear, including when mounted on boats or inside minecarts. No special steps are needed—the reskins apply automatically.

1. Craft or obtain a chest, boat, and minecart

2. Place a chest on a boat by right-clicking the boat with the chest in hand

3. Place a chest in a minecart by right-clicking the minecart with the chest

4. The chest will display with its Dungeons-styled 3D model in both cases

What Changes

Both regular chests and trapped chests receive updated appearances when mounted. The custom models work identically to standard chests functionally—you can still open and access inventory normally.

This is especially useful for creating themed storage systems in the Nether or for mobile storage solutions. The dungeon aesthetic carries through all placement contexts.
