Do I need a mod to use this or is it just a resource pack?
This is a resource pack only—no mod installation required. Simply download it, place it in your resource packs folder, and activate it in your world settings.
Will the new chest models work if I'm playing on a server?
Yes, resource packs work on servers. You'll see the updated chest models on your end, but other players will only see them if they also have the pack installed.
Why don't my ender chest sounds work?
Make sure you've enabled custom sounds in your resource pack settings and that your game volume isn't muted. Check that the resource pack is positioned above any conflicting packs in your load order.
Can I use this with other chest-themed resource packs?
No—if you have multiple packs that change chest textures or models, only the one highest in your load order will be visible. Place this pack above others if you want its designs to show.
Do trapped chests look different from regular chests in this pack?
Yes, trapped chests have a distinct dungeon-styled appearance so you can tell them apart from regular chests at a glance.
Will chests in my old worlds get the new look?
Yes, the resource pack applies to all existing chests in any world once activated. You don't need to place new chests or regenerate terrain.
Are the ender chest particles always on?
The purple particles and glowing effects appear when you open an ender chest and are part of the pack's default design—they cannot be toggled off separately.
Do chests on boats and in minecarts get updated too?
Yes, this pack updates chest models wherever they're placed, including on boats and inside minecarts.
Will this pack affect my game performance?
