Drippy Armors Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Do I need any other mods for Drippy Armors to work?
Yes, you must have Entity Model Features (EMF) and Entity Texture Features (ETF) installed for the custom armor models to display. Without these mods, the pack will not load the restyled armor visuals.
Why do my armor pieces look the same as vanilla?
Make sure EMF and ETF are both installed and enabled in your mod folder. If they're installed, try reloading your world or restarting your game to force the resource pack to refresh.
Can I use armor trims with this pack?
Yes, Drippy Armors is fully compatible with armor trims. You can apply any trim pattern and material to the restyled armor pieces to further customize your look.
Does this pack change how armor works or just how it looks?
This is a resource pack only, so it only changes the appearance of armor. All armor stats, durability, and protection values remain exactly the same as vanilla.
Which armor sets are included in this pack?
The pack restyles all five vanilla armor sets: leather, chainmail, iron, diamond, and netherite, each with updated 3D models and clean textures that match the original color palette.
Will this pack work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, you can use this pack on any server since it only affects your client-side visuals. Other players will see your armor with the new designs, but the server doesn't need the pack installed.
Why are the armor details blurry or pixelated?
Check that your resource pack is set to a high enough resolution in your game settings, and make sure EMF and ETF are loading correctly. You can also try deleting the shader cache and restarting the game.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs?
Yes, but place Drippy Armors higher in your resource pack list than other packs to ensure its textures take priority. If conflicts occur, you may need to adjust the load order.
Do the item icons in my inventory match the new armor designs?
Yes, the pack includes updated item icons for all armor pieces so they match the restyled 3D models you see on your character and on armor stands.
Will this pack affect my performance or FPS?
The pack itself has minimal impact, but the custom 3D models do require EMF and ETF to render, which may slightly increase GPU usage compared to vanilla armor. Most modern systems won't notice a significant difference.
