Understanding Your Vision Ability

As a sculk dragon, your eyes have adapted to the deep dark. The Night Vision ability lets you focus mana into your eyes to see perfectly in pitch-black caves where normal vision fails completely.

Using Night Vision Effectively

1. Descend into areas with no natural light sources

2. Open your ability menu and activate Night Vision

3. Your vision will clarify, revealing the cave environment in detail

4. The effect lasts for a limited duration—plan your exploration accordingly

5. When the effect wears off, reactivate it if you still need visibility

Strategic Tips

Use Night Vision before entering deep caves or the Deep Dark dimension to avoid wasting time searching for torches or light blocks. The ability consumes mana, so manage your mana pool carefully if you're also using Sculk Infect or Sculk Feed during the same expedition.

This ability is essential for finding resources and avoiding hazards in absolute darkness. Unlike torches, it doesn't alert mobs or create light that might attract unwanted attention in dangerous biomes.
