Understanding Visual Stages

The Composter now displays seven distinct 3D layers as it fills with organic material. Each visual stage represents the compost's progress toward readiness, letting you see exactly how full it is without opening the interface.

Filling Your Composter

1. Place a Composter block in your base or farm

2. Drop organic items into it—seeds, leaves, food scraps, and plant matter all work

3. Watch the 3D compost layer visibly rise after each addition

4. When the model reaches its highest point, the composter is ready to harvest

5. Right-click to collect bone meal

Tips for Efficiency

Set up multiple composters in a line so you can monitor several at once. The animated texture makes it easy to spot which ones are nearly full from across your base. This is especially useful for large-scale farms where you're processing lots of organic waste into bone meal for crops.
