Why do some of my blocks still look flat after installing the mod?
Make sure the resource pack is moved to the active list (right side) in your Resource Packs menu, not just selected on the left. You may also need to restart your world or server for all blocks to render with their new models.
How do I know if my composter is ready to harvest?
Watch the 3D compost layer inside the composter—it visually rises through seven stages as you add organic items, and when it reaches the top, the composter is ready and you can harvest bone meal.
Can I see which mode my redstone comparator is in?
Yes, the comparator model changes visually between regular output mode and subtraction mode, so you can identify its state at a glance without needing to check the redstone signal.
Do beacons and lightning rods show when they're powered?
Yes, both blocks have animated glowing states that activate when powered, making it easy to see if your beacon pyramid is complete or if a lightning rod is actively conducting during a storm.
Will this mod work on my multiplayer server?
Yes, it works on both private survival servers and public multiplayer worlds since it only changes how blocks look on your client—it doesn't modify game mechanics or require server-side installation.
What blocks get new 3D models?
The mod includes 90 custom 3D models for everyday workstation and redstone blocks, including composters, cauldrons, iron bars, comparators, beacons, lightning rods, heavy cores, dragon eggs, brewing stands, and mangrove propagules.
Do the textures animate or are they static?
Over 500 textures include built-in animations, so fluids in cauldrons and bottles in brewing stands will animate, and powered blocks will glow and pulse to show their active states.
Will this mod lag my game?
Resource packs are lightweight and shouldn't cause performance issues, but if you experience lag, try disabling other resource packs or lowering your render distance.
Can I use this mod with other resource packs?
You can stack multiple resource packs, but if another pack also modifies the same blocks, whichever pack is higher in the active list will take priority—place Diamond SMP Essentials Model above conflicting packs to use its models.
