Why Mycelium Looks Different

The Demon Eye Phantoms pack modifies the mycelium particle texture because it shares the same texture file as phantom wing trails. This is a necessary side effect of the customization.

What to Expect

When you break mycelium blocks or see mycelium particles in your world, they may appear different from vanilla Minecraft. This is intentional and part of how the pack achieves its phantom effects.

If You Want Vanilla Mycelium Back

If the modified mycelium bothers you, place a vanilla resource pack *above* Demon Eye Phantoms in your load order. This will restore standard mycelium textures while keeping the phantom customizations active—as long as the vanilla pack doesn't override phantom textures.

Alternatively, you can manually edit the pack files, but this requires resource pack knowledge and may break with future updates.
