Choose Between Different Wooden Roof Styles

Roof Variety

Each wood type in Minecraft gets its own unique roof texture and appearance. This lets you customize your boat's look by choosing different wood materials.

Selecting Your Boat Type

1. Craft boats from different woods: Use oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, or cherry wood planks in the standard boat recipe.

2. Compare roof textures: Each wood type displays a roof that matches its plank color and grain pattern. Oak has a warm brown roof, birch is pale, spruce is dark, and so on.

3. Place them side by side: Build a dock or water area and place multiple boat types together to see how the roofs compare.

Customization Tips

• Match your boat's roof to your base's building materials for visual cohesion
• Use contrasting wood types if you want boats to stand out on the water
• The roof texture quality remains consistent across all wood variants
• All boats maintain the same cozy aesthetic regardless of wood choice
