Why don't my boats have roofs in-game?
Custom boat models require either OptiFine or Entity Model Features (EMF) to display. Make sure one of these mods/tools is installed and enabled, then restart your game.
Do the 3D boat models work in multiplayer?
Yes, the resource pack works in multiplayer servers. Other players will see your roofed boats as long as they also have the pack installed with OptiFine or EMF enabled.
Can I use this pack with other boat mods?
This pack reskins vanilla boats, so it may conflict with mods that add entirely new boat types or heavily modify boat behavior. Test compatibility by loading both together and checking if boats display correctly.
How do I see the 3D boat models in my inventory?
The pack automatically replaces flat boat icons with 3D models in your inventory and hotbar when OptiFine or EMF is active. No additional setup is needed beyond having one of these tools installed.
Do the boat animations work on all versions?
Smooth rowing animations are included in the pack, but their appearance depends on your OptiFine or EMF version. Update to the latest version of your chosen tool if animations look choppy or don't display.
Will this pack affect my FPS?
The custom models are lightweight, but enabling them does add a small performance cost. If you experience lag, try lowering your render distance or disabling other resource-intensive mods.
Can I disable the roofs on specific boat types?
This pack reskins all boats uniformly. To customize individual boat styles, you would need to edit the resource pack files yourself or use a different pack designed for that feature.
Do the roofed boats have different sizes or hitboxes?
The custom models are purely visual and don't change boat hitboxes or functionality. Boats behave identically to vanilla boats—only their appearance is different.
What should I do if boats look glitchy or have missing textures?
First, verify OptiFine or EMF is installed and up-to-date. If issues persist, try deleting your shader cache and restarting the game, or check that the resource pack is enabled in your resource pack list.
Does this pack work with Sodium or other performance mods?
Sodium alone won't display custom boat models—you still need OptiFine or EMF. Some players use Sodium with EMF together for better performance, but compatibility depends on your specific mod setup.
