Make Brass Casings with Modded Wood Types

Why Use Modded Wood?

Brass Casings normally require vanilla stripped wood, but this data pack opens up all Biomes O' Plenty wood types as valid alternatives. This is useful if you're already harvesting modded trees for other purposes or want visual variety in your factory.

Preparation and Crafting

Locate and fell trees from Biomes O' Plenty biomes. Strip the bark using an axe—both stripped logs and stripped wood blocks work. Gather Brass Ingots (crafted from Copper and Zinc) or find them in the world.

At a crafting table, combine your stripped modded wood with Brass Ingots to produce Brass Casings. Any Biomes O' Plenty wood type is accepted, so you can mix and match for aesthetic builds or use whatever you have on hand.

Efficient Harvesting

If you're building a large brass factory section, consider automating wood collection near a Biomes O' Plenty biome. Create's tree-farming setups work with modded logs just as well as vanilla ones, letting you feed a continuous stream of stripped wood into your casing production line.
