Automate Copper Casing Production

Direct Crafting Advantage

Unlike Andesite and Brass Casings, Copper Casings can be crafted directly from stripped modded logs without needing alloys or ingots as additional ingredients. This makes them the fastest casing type to produce at scale.

Setting Up Automation

Build a tree farm in or near a Biomes O' Plenty biome using Create's mechanical tools. Use a mechanical saw or similar block to strip logs automatically. Feed the stripped logs into a crafting setup—either a manual crafting table fed by hoppers, or a more complex automated crafter if your modpack includes one.

Copper Casings will output continuously as long as stripped logs are supplied. This setup requires minimal infrastructure compared to other casing types.

Scaling Considerations

Since Copper Casings need only wood, you can run multiple production lines in parallel without worrying about ingredient bottlenecks. Consider placing your farm near your factory to minimize transport distances, or use Create's item pipes to move stripped logs long distances efficiently.
