Use Explosions for Terrain Modification
Carving Craters with Precision
Because this mod replaces standard spherical blast destruction with energy-transfer crater physics, explosions create realistic, irregular terrain changes. You can use this for terraforming projects.
Step 1: Identify an area of terrain you want to modify—a hill, cliff, or flat ground.
Step 2: Place TNT blocks strategically at or near the surface.
Step 3: Detonate and observe how the crater forms based on the explosion's energy distribution and the terrain's composition.
Controlling Crater Shape
Multiple smaller explosions create different crater patterns than one large detonation. Experiment with cluster size, placement depth, and spacing to achieve your desired terrain effect. The shockwave spreads outward before destroying blocks, so positioning matters—explosions closer to the surface create wider, shallower craters.
Chain reactions naturally carve interconnected blast zones, useful for creating canyon-like formations or dramatic landscape features. This approach is more dynamic and realistic than manual block removal.
