Understand what happens after defeating the Ender Dragon

Portal behavior changes permanently

Once your team defeats the Ender Dragon for the first time on your server, the Cooperative End Access Mod's special rules are no longer needed. The mod automatically restores vanilla End Portal behavior across the entire world.

What this means for future portals

After the dragon's first defeat, any new End Portals can be activated by a single player without requiring cooperation. The eye placement limits, activation radius requirements, and contributor tracking all disappear. Subsequent End Portal activations work exactly like vanilla Minecraft.

Plan accordingly

If your server wants to maintain the cooperative challenge for multiple dragon fights, coordinate with your team before the first defeat. Once the dragon falls, the mod's restrictions lift permanently, so make your first dragon encounter count as a true group effort.
