Retrieve your Eye of Ender from the portal frame

Identify which eye is yours

When you approach an End Portal frame with placed Eyes of Ender, you can only remove the eyes that you personally placed. Other players' eyes are protected and cannot be taken by you.

Remove your eye

Interact with the End Portal frame block containing your eye to retrieve it. The eye will be returned to your inventory. You'll receive a warning message that the portal state may collapse if you remove your contribution—this is especially important if the portal is currently active or if other players are relying on your eye for the portal to function.

Understand the consequences

Removing your eye while other players are committed to the portal can cause it to close if you were one of the required contributors. Make sure all team members are aware before you rescind your contribution, or coordinate with your group about changes to the portal setup.
