Set Up a Basic Dungeon with Entry and Exit Points
Create and Configure Your Dungeon
Start by establishing the physical boundaries of your dungeon space. Use /dungeon set pos1
at one corner of your intended dungeon area, then /dungeon set pos2
at the opposite corner. This defines the overall play space.
Next, designate where players spawn when they enter. Stand at your desired entry location and run /dungeon set entry
. This is typically near a Join NPC or dungeon entrance. Then set the exit point with /dungeon set exit
— this is where players are sent after completing or leaving the dungeon.
Place a Join NPC
Create a Join NPC at your entry point so players can access the dungeon through a clean interface rather than typing commands. The NPC will automatically use the entry spawn point you configured.
Test your setup by running /dungeon join
to verify you spawn at the correct entry location and can navigate to your exit point. Adjust positions as needed before adding rooms and encounters.
