Create Multiple Rooms and Connect Them with Gates
Divide Your Dungeon into Areas
Dungeons work best when split into distinct functional rooms. Use /dungeon area create <dungeon> <type> to add new areas — common types include exploration corridors, miniboss rooms, and boss arenas. Each area should have clear boundaries and a purpose.
For each area, set its spawn point with /dungeon area setspawn <dungeon>, then define its boundaries using /dungeon area setpos1 <dungeon> and /dungeon area setpos2 <dungeon>. Use /dungeon area list <dungeon> to review all configured areas.
Link Areas with Gates
Gates control progression between rooms. Create a gate with /dungeon gate create <dungeon> <gate> <fromArea> <toArea>, specifying which areas it connects. Position the gate by setting /dungeon gate setpos1 <dungeon> <gate> and /dungeon gate setpos2 <dungeon> <gate> at the doorway or barrier location.
Gates can be locked behind battle requirements, forcing players to defeat trainers before advancing. Use /dungeon gate list <dungeon> to see all gates and verify your layout.
