Troubleshoot Missing or Broken Animations
Verify File Placement
Animations require both datapack and resource pack files in correct locations.
1. Check your world folder for a datapacks directory—place the zip file there
2. Check your Minecraft game folder for a resourcepacks directory—place the zip file there
3. Do not extract the zip files; keep them as .zip archives
4. Restart your game completely after adding files
Confirm Resource Pack is Active
1. Pause in-game and open Options → Resource Packs
2. Ensure the Cobblemon Animated Pokemon pack appears in the Active column (right side)
3. If it's in the Inactive column (left side), click the arrow to activate it
4. Return to your world
Test with Supported Pokémon
Some creatures have animations while others don't. If a Pokémon shows no custom movement:
1. Check if it's in the supported list (Greninja, Pidgey, Chespin, etc.)
2. Try summoning a different supported creature to confirm the pack works
3. If supported Pokémon still lack animations, both files may not be properly loaded
