Cobblecafe Data Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I get started with dressing up my Pokemon?
Find any supported Pokemon, hold the correct color wool in your main hand, and right-click the Pokemon to change its outfit. Each Pokemon has a specific wool color that triggers its cafe or battle outfit.
What happens to my Pokemon's evolutions when I dress it up?
Dressing up your Pokemon doesn't affect its normal evolution path—your dressed-up starter will still evolve the regular way when it meets the evolution requirements.
Can I change Pikachu's outfit with wool like other Pokemon?
Pikachu is special—instead of wool, hold a cake in your main hand and right-click Pikachu to see its unique special form.
Which starters can I dress up and what colors do they need?
Sprigatito needs lime wool, Fuecoco needs red wool, Rowlet needs brown wool, Litten needs purple wool, and Cyndaquil or Quilava need brown wool. Chikorita also uses brown wool.
How do I get all the Fennekin family outfits?
The entire Fennekin family line uses white wool—hold white wool and right-click any member of the Fennekin family to see their cafe outfit.
What rare Pokemon can I dress up?
Mew works with lime or brown wool, Tinkaton needs pink wool, Gardevoir needs blue wool, and Salamence needs lime wool. Each has a specific outfit from the cafe or battle collections.
Do I need to hold the wool the whole time or just to activate the outfit?
You only need to hold the wool in your main hand when you right-click the Pokemon—the outfit stays on after you change it.
Can I remove an outfit and go back to the normal look?
Right-click the dressed-up Pokemon with an empty hand to revert it to its normal appearance.
Will this mod work with other Pokemon mods?
This is a data pack, so compatibility depends on how other mods handle Pokemon rendering and interactions—test it with your specific setup to be sure.
What should I do if an outfit isn't changing when I right-click?
Make sure you're holding the correct wool color in your main hand (not off-hand), that the Pokemon is on the supported list, and that you're right-clicking directly on the Pokemon.
