Customize Sky Colors for Different Times of Day

Understanding Custom Colors

This resource pack includes custom color profiles for sunrise, sunset, noon, and night. These are controlled through OptiFine's Custom Colors feature.

Enabling Custom Color Profiles

1. Open Video Settings and ensure Custom Colors is set to ON

2. The pack's color files will automatically load when you enter a world

3. Observe how the sky transitions through warm oranges at sunset and deep blues at night

Manual Color Adjustments

If you want to modify sky colors:

1. Navigate to your resource pack folder

2. Locate the colormap or sky configuration files (if exposed)

3. Edit the color values using a text editor

4. Reload your world to see changes

Troubleshooting Color Issues

If colors appear washed out or incorrect:

  • Verify Custom Colors is enabled in Video Settings
  • Check that Brightness and Contrast aren't set to extreme values
  • Ensure no conflicting resource packs are active above this one in your list
  • Try disabling and re-enabling the pack to force a reload

Note: Color customization depth depends on your OptiFine version; newer versions offer more control.
