Switch Between Ruby Styles (Classic, Earth, Modern)

Locate Your Resource Pack Folder

Navigate to your resource pack directory. The Classic Earth and Modern Rubies pack contains all three style variants built-in, but only one displays at a time by default.

Activate Your Preferred Style

Open the resource pack's texture files folder. You'll find alternate texture variants labeled for each style (Classic, Earth, and Modern). To switch styles:

1. Locate the texture file set for your desired style

2. Rename the currently active style files by adding a prefix like _disabled or .bak

3. Rename your chosen style's files to remove any suffix, making them the active set

4. Reload your resource pack in-game (F3 + T on Java Edition, or restart)

Verify the Change

Open your inventory and check your ruby tools, armor, or nearby ruby ore blocks. The gem color and crystal design should now match your selected style. If textures don't update, try closing and reopening your world.

Each style—Classic's retro sprite, Earth's blocky design, or Modern's refined look—will now appear consistently across all ruby items and blocks.
