How do I switch between Classic, Earth, and Modern ruby styles?
Each style uses different texture file names. Rename the texture files in the pack's assets folder to activate your preferred style—the wiki's 'Switch Between Ruby Styles' guide lists which files to rename for each variant. Only one style can be active at a time.
Do I need to find ruby ore differently than diamond ore?
No—ruby ore spawns in the exact same locations and depths as diamond ore normally would. This pack only changes the appearance; mining and finding ruby ore works identically to vanilla diamond ore.
Will ruby tools and weapons have the same durability and damage as diamonds?
Yes, ruby gear is purely a visual replacement and has identical stats, durability, and crafting recipes to diamond gear.
Can I use ruby armor trim on other armor types?
Ruby armor trim works like any other trim material in the Smithing Table—you can apply it to iron, gold, netherite, or other armor types to add the ruby aesthetic accent.
Why don't my enchanting tables and smithing tables look ruby-themed?
Make sure the pack is enabled and has highest priority in your resource pack list. If workstations still show default textures, check that you've activated the correct ruby style variant for your preferred look.
Does this pack work with other resource packs?
Yes, but place this pack higher in your resource pack list than packs it might conflict with. If another pack also retextures diamonds or workstations, whichever pack is listed first will take priority.
Are deepslate ruby ores included in this pack?
Yes, deepslate diamond ore is reskinned to deepslate ruby ore, so you'll see ruby textures when mining in the deep caves.
Will ruby beacon bases work with all beacon colors?
The ruby beacon base texture is applied to the standard beacon pyramid block, so it displays the same way regardless of which beacon effect you're using.
Can I see what ruby gear looks like before committing to a style?
