Find and Mine Ruby Ore with This Pack

Locate Ruby Ore Blocks

Ruby ore appears wherever diamond ore normally generates in your world. Look in:

• Standard Ruby Ore: Found in regular stone below Y-level 16
• Deepslate Ruby Ore: Found in deepslate below Y-level 0

Use the same mining techniques and depths you'd use for diamonds. Ruby ore will display as bright red crystal blocks instead of the traditional blue diamond texture.

Mine and Collect

Use an iron pickaxe or better to break ruby ore blocks. You'll receive raw ruby materials or ruby gems (depending on your pack version). Avoid stone or wooden pickaxes—they won't drop anything.

Craft Ruby Items

Once you have ruby gems, use them in standard diamond recipes. Ruby gear crafts identically to diamond tools, weapons, and armor. Place gems in the same patterns you'd use for diamonds on your crafting table.

Ruby blocks can also be crafted from nine gems, or mined directly as decorative blocks for building.
