Activate the Turkey Resource Pack in Your World

Load the Pack in Your World Settings

Once installed, the Chickens to Turkey Resource Pack needs to be enabled before turkeys appear in your world.

1. Open your world or create a new one

2. Pause the game and go to Settings

3. Navigate to Resource Packs

4. Look for "Chickens to Turkey" in the available packs list

5. Click the arrow or button to move it into the Active section

6. Confirm the changes and return to your world

Verify Turkeys Are Showing

After activation, any chicken you encounter—whether wild in biomes or on farms—will now display as a custom 3D turkey model instead. If you don't see turkeys immediately, try:

• Moving away and back toward chicken spawning areas
• Reloading your world completely
• Checking that the pack appears in your active list with no warning symbols

The pack changes only the visual appearance; turkeys behave identically to vanilla chickens. They still drop the same items, breed the same way, and respond to seeds.
