Troubleshoot Elytra Still Showing Cape Pattern

Check Pack Load Order

If your elytra still displays your cape's pattern, the Capeless Wings pack may be loading after another conflicting pack. Open Resource Packs, select Capeless Wings, and use the arrow buttons to move it higher in the list (closer to the top). Packs loaded later override earlier ones.

Verify Pack Compatibility

Disable other cosmetic or cape-related resource packs temporarily. Some packs modify elytra or equipment models and may conflict. Test with only Capeless Wings active to confirm it works.

Reload Resources

Press F3 + T (or Ctrl + T on some systems) to reload all resource packs without restarting. This applies any load order changes immediately.

Confirm Cape is Equipped

The pack only separates visuals when you're actually wearing a cape. Check that your character profile has a cape enabled in your account settings or cosmetic menu.
