Enable Capeless Wings to See Your True Elytra Texture

Activate the Resource Pack

Capeless Wings works as a standard resource pack. Open your Minecraft launcher and navigate to Resource Packs in the options menu. Locate the Capeless Wings pack in your available packs list and click the arrow to move it to the Active column.

Verify Your Elytra Display

Once activated, equip both an elytra and a cape on your character. Launch a world and check your appearance in a mirror, water reflection, or by opening your inventory screen. Your elytra wings should now display their original grey texture instead of copying your cape's pattern.

Test in Flight

Climb to a high point and deploy your elytra by jumping and pressing space (or your configured elytra key). Your wings should maintain their true texture while gliding, separate from any cape visuals behind your character.

If the pack doesn't appear in your resource packs list, ensure it's placed in your .minecraft/resourcepacks folder and restart your launcher.
