Using Custom Symbols to Identify Enchantments Faster

What the Symbols Tell You

Each enchantment in this mod gets a unique small icon or symbol displayed next to its name in tooltips. These visual markers let you recognize spells by shape alone, even before reading the text. Over time, you'll memorize which symbol means what without thinking.

Spotting Enchantments in Crowded Inventories

When you're sorting through a large storage room or comparing multiple pieces of loot, scanning for specific symbols is faster than reading every tooltip word-by-word. Look for the symbol that matches the enchantment you need—whether that's protection, sharpness, or speed boosts.

Combining Symbols and Colors

The symbols work alongside the color system. A damage enchantment will have both its unique symbol and its color-coded background, creating a double-layer of visual information. This redundancy means you can identify gear even if you only catch a glimpse of the tooltip during hectic moments.

The symbols remain consistent across all your gear, so a protection enchantment looks identical whether it's on a helmet, chestplate, or shield.
