Create an Ammo or Equipment Farm with Restocking Containers

Choose the Right Container Type

Ammo Boxes and Cases are optimized for ammunition and compact gear, while Military Boxes suit weapons and tactical equipment. Crates and Metal Chests work well for mixed resources. Select based on your intended use and the mod's themed container types.

Configure Item Pools

Edit lootstock.toml and navigate to the container section you chose. Add item IDs for ammunition, weapons, or gear from your installed mods. For example, populate an Ammo Box with minecraft:arrow and custom ammunition IDs. Set min and max values to control spawn rates—higher max values mean more items per restock.

Build Your Farm Layout

Place multiple containers in a organized grid or structure. Space them out for easy access and visual clarity. Enable /gamerule lootstockDebug true to confirm each container is generating the correct loot.

Harvest and Repeat

Collect items from containers regularly. They will restock automatically over time, creating a renewable resource farm. The more containers you place, the more loot you'll accumulate per restock cycle.
