Bountiful Structure Spoils Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Do I need to delete my world to use this mod?
No, the mod works on existing worlds. Structure chests you haven't opened yet will have the new loot when you find them, but chests you've already looted won't change retroactively.
Will this mod work with my other structure mods?
Yes, Bountiful Structure Spoils is designed to work with custom structure mods like Towns and Towers, CTOV, Repurposed Structures, and Explorify. It automatically adapts to structures from these mods.
How do I get modded items in structure chests?
The mod scans your installed mods and automatically adds their items to fitting structure loot tables—you don't need to configure anything. If a mod isn't loaded, its items won't appear.
Which profession chest has the best loot?
That depends on your needs: Armorers and Weaponsmiths offer combat gear, Clerics provide potions and brewing supplies, and Fishermen give food and fishing tools. Check multiple profession chests in the same village for variety.
Why are village profession chests different in different biomes?
The mod rebalances profession loot based on the biome—for example, a Mason in a desert will have different stone materials than one in a mountain biome. This makes loot feel thematically appropriate to the environment.
Can I find biome-specific seeds in every village?
Biome-specific seeds and bundles are placed in village house chests across plains, savannas, deserts, and jungles. You'll need to explore multiple villages or different biomes to collect the full variety.
What's the difference between dungeon and mineshaft chest loot?
Mineshafts focus on raw ores, mining tools, and lighting supplies, while dungeons contain a mix of tools, enchanted books, and pottery sherds. Temples and mansions have their own specialized pools with higher-tier treasures.
Do I need to configure anything for the mod to work?
No configuration is required. The mod automatically detects your installed mods and distributes their items into structure chests based on built-in themes.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod only modifies loot tables and doesn't add new blocks or entities, so it should have minimal performance impact on most systems.
Are End Cities and Strongholds affected by this mod?
Yes, Strongholds and End Cities receive top-tier weapons, armor trims, enchanted books, and End-specific supplies that fit their high-value nature.
