How do I find geodes in my world?
Geodes spawn underground in caves and cavern systems, similar to where you'd find amethyst geodes. Explore deeper cave networks and listen for mining sounds or look for the distinctive colored blocks protruding from stone and deepslate walls.
What's the best tool to mine a geode?
Use a pickaxe appropriate to the ore type inside the geode—diamond pickaxe for diamond and emerald geodes, iron pickaxe for gold and redstone, and stone pickaxe or better for coal and copper. For special block geodes (slime, ice, honey), use a shovel or axe depending on the block type.
Do geodes spawn in the Nether or End?
Geodes from this data pack spawn only in the Overworld's underground cave systems. They follow standard world generation rules and won't appear in other dimensions.
Can I use this with other world generation mods?
Yes, this data pack is designed to work alongside most other world generation add-ons without conflicts. However, if you experience overlapping structures or performance issues, try adjusting the load order or disabling conflicting features.
Why am I not finding many geodes?
Geodes are intentionally balanced to spawn at reasonable rates so they don't make resources too abundant. Explore more cave systems, especially in deeper levels (Y-level 0 and below), where geodes are more common.
Are ice and honey geodes useful or just decorative?

Do geodes respawn if I mine them?
