Breed and Raise Tuna for Food
Finding and Catching Tuna
Tuna spawn in ocean biomes and can be caught using a bucket or by breeding adults. Look for schools of tuna swimming in deeper water away from the surface.
Breeding Tuna
Once you have two adult tuna, place them in a confined space with water. Feed them their preferred food to initiate breeding. Baby tuna will spawn and grow through multiple visible life stages before reaching full size.
Harvesting and Cooking
Adult tuna drop raw fillets when killed. Take these fillets to the Deep Blue Grill to cook them into a nutritious food source. The grill processes fillets efficiently and is essential for turning your catch into meals.
Growth Stages
Watch your tuna develop from tiny juveniles into full-sized adults. Each stage has distinct visual differences, making it easy to track which fish are ready for harvest. Patient breeding allows you to maintain a sustainable food supply without constantly hunting the ocean.
