Using /locate to Track Down Structures

The locate command is your fastest way to find dungeons across Big Globe's massive terrain. Type /locate structure <structure_id> in chat, and the game will calculate coordinates for the nearest matching structure.

How to Locate Structures

1. Open chat and type /locate structure followed by the structure name. Common When Dungeons Arise structures include fortress, castle, and temple variants.

2. The command returns coordinates in the format X Z — these are your target location.

3. Use these coordinates with /tp @s <X> <Y> <Z> to teleport directly, or note them down for travel.

4. If no structure appears nearby, the command will tell you — try exploring further or use a different structure ID.

Finding Structure Names

If you're unsure of exact structure IDs, check your world's datapack folder or use tab-completion in chat after typing /locate structure — the game will suggest available options.

For ocean structures from Seven Seas, search for ship or vessel-related IDs. The locate command works across oceans and mountains equally, making it invaluable for Big Globe's sprawling landscapes.
