Better Nether PT BR Translation Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Why can't I see the Portuguese text even though I installed the pack?
You must set your Minecraft language to PT-BR (Português Brasileiro) in the Language settings for the translations to appear. The resource pack only works when that language is selected.
Do I need the base Better Nether mod for this to work?
Yes, this is a translation resource pack only—it requires the main Better Nether mod to be installed first. Without it, there will be nothing to translate.
What does this pack translate?
It translates all item names, block names, descriptions, tooltips, menus, and advancement text from Better Nether into Brazilian Portuguese. Everything you see in the inventory and UI will be in Portuguese.
Will this pack slow down my game or cause lag?
No, resource packs are lightweight and only change text and visuals—they have minimal performance impact. You should see no difference in frame rate or game speed.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, you can stack multiple resource packs together. Load this translation pack alongside other packs in your resource pack list, and they will work together as long as they don't conflict.
Does this pack change textures, sounds, or models?
No, it only translates text. All textures, sounds, and 3D models from Better Nether remain unchanged—only the names and descriptions you read are converted to Portuguese.
What if I switch my language back to English—will the pack break?
No, switching languages won't break anything. Simply change your language setting back to English in the settings menu, and the English text will return.
Does this pack work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, resource packs work on both single-player and multiplayer servers. You load it on your client side, so other players don't need to have it installed.
Will this pack update automatically when Better Nether updates?
No, you may need to download a newer version of the translation pack if Better Nether adds new items or blocks. Check the mod's page for updated versions.
Can I use this pack on older versions of Minecraft?
This pack is designed for the Minecraft version that Better Nether supports. Check the pack's compatibility information to confirm it matches your game version.
