Finding Bats Efficiently

Phantom Membranes now drop from regular cave bats instead of Phantoms. To farm them effectively, head into caves or any dark underground area where bats naturally spawn. Bats are most common in caverns below Y-level 0, especially in larger open cave systems. Use torches or other light sources to navigate safely while leaving dark pockets where bats can spawn.

Maximizing Your Drops

Each bat defeated has a base chance to drop one membrane. Some lucky bats will drop two membranes at once—this is a rare bonus that can speed up your farming. Since drop rates can be customized by your server owner, check with them if you want to know the exact percentages on your server.

To farm efficiently:

• Explore large cave systems rather than small caverns
• Use a sword or bow to defeat bats quickly
• Collect drops immediately to avoid despawning
• Return to the same caves periodically as bats respawn

Unlike hunting Phantoms at night, bat farming is safe, predictable, and can be done on your own schedule without needing to stay awake.
