Do I have to sleep to avoid Phantoms with this mod?
No. Phantoms don't spawn at all with this mod installed, so you can stay awake for as many nights as you want without any risk of being attacked from above.
Where do I find bats to farm Phantom Membranes?
Bats spawn naturally in caves and dark underground areas, just like in vanilla Minecraft. Go caving at night or dig down into caves to find them.
What's the drop rate for Phantom Membranes from bats?
Each bat has a 25% chance to drop one membrane when defeated, and a 15% chance to drop two membranes instead. Server owners can adjust these chances in the settings file.
Can I still repair my Elytra without hunting bats?
With this mod, bats are the only source of Phantom Membranes, so you'll need to hunt them to repair your Elytra. There's no other way to get membranes in the game.
Do I need Phantom Membranes for anything besides Elytra repair?
Yes, you also need them to brew Slow Falling potions. Both uses require Phantom Membranes as a key ingredient.
Will this mod work on my multiplayer server?
Yes, this is a plugin designed for servers. All players on the server will experience the same changes—no Phantoms and bats dropping membranes.
Can I turn Phantoms back on if I change my mind?
You can disable the mod or adjust the settings file to re-enable Phantom spawning, depending on your server setup. Check your configuration options.
Do bats drop anything else besides Phantom Membranes?
The mod only changes what bats drop to include Phantom Membranes. They may still drop their normal vanilla loot depending on your mod settings.
Is there a better place to farm bats than others?
Any cave system works, but larger caves with more darkness will naturally spawn more bats. Build a bat farm in a dark underground chamber for consistent farming.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
Removing Phantom spawning should actually improve performance slightly since there are fewer mobs to track. The mod is lightweight and shouldn't cause problems on most servers.
