Unlocking Armour Skin Slots with the Armourer

What the Slots Are

Each armour piece has its own skin slot: head, chest, legs, feet, and wings. By default these slots are locked. You unlock them with the corresponding item: Head Skin Slot Unlock, Chest Skin Slot Unlock, Legs Skin Slot Unlock, Feet Skin Slot Unlock, and Wings Skin Slot Unlock.

Unlocking Procedure

Place an Armourer block and right-click it. In the interface, select the slot you want to open. Hold the matching Skin Slot Unlock item and apply it to that slot. Once unlocked, the slot stays open for that Armourer and accepts skins loaded from a Skin Library or Global Skin Library.

After unlocking, place the armour piece you want to skin into the Armourer, choose the skin, and confirm. The skin is bound to that piece. Repeat for each slot you want to use. If you later want a different skin in the same slot, load another skin from the library and reassign it — no new unlock is needed.

To move a finished skin onto a different armour piece, use the Wand Of Style. To remove a skin entirely, apply Soap to the armour. Keep a Skin Library near your Armourer so skins are saved and reusable across sessions.
