Survival Progression: From Dye Table to Finished Skins

Early Steps

Begin by crafting a Dye Table. This block is your starting point for producing dyes and preparing colors. Combine it with a Color Mixer to blend custom shades. Gather Dye Bottles to hold the colors you produce.

Building the Skinning Table

Your next goal is the Skinning Table, the core workstation. Once you have it, craft a Skin Template to paint on. Use the Paintbrush with your Dye Bottle colors to apply paint. Save the result as a skin.

Unlocking Armor Slots

By default, only some armor pieces accept skins. Craft the unlock items to expand this: Head Skin Slot Unlock, Chest Skin Slot Unlock, Legs Skin Slot Unlock, Feet Skin Slot Unlock, Wings Skin Slot Unlock, and Outfit Skin Slot Unlock. Each one enables skinning on the corresponding armor slot.

Storing and Sharing

Build a Skin Library to store your saved skins. For shared access, craft a Global Skin Library. Use the Linking Tool to connect an Armorer to your libraries so every linked block can read and write the same skin collection. The Armourers Hammer is used for adjusting placed skin-related blocks. The Wand Of Style applies saved skins directly to armor you are holding.
