Why Extract Enchantments

Extraction lets you salvage all enchantments from a single undamaged item and transfer them to a clean enchanted book. This is useful when you want to reuse enchantments on different gear without losing them.

How to Extract

1. Open an anvil

2. Place your undamaged enchanted item in the left slot (armor, tool, weapon, etc.)

3. Place a regular book in the right slot

4. Confirm the operation for 1 experience level

5. The book now holds all enchantments from that item

What You Need to Know

• The item must be undamaged (full durability)
• All enchantments transfer to a single book, including curses
• The original item is consumed
• You can then duplicate this book or apply it to new gear
• This is a cheap way to preserve enchantments before scrapping old equipment

Perfect for salvaging enchanted gear you no longer use.
