Why Duplicate Books

Instead of grinding for multiple enchanted books, duplicate one book across several blanks. This saves time and lets you apply the same enchantment to multiple items without hunting for more books.

How to Copy an Enchanted Book

1. Open an anvil

2. Place your enchanted book in the left slot

3. Place up to 4 regular (blank) books in the right slot

4. Confirm the operation

5. You'll receive copies of the enchanted book

Important Notes

• The original enchanted book is consumed
• You get one copy per blank book used
• All copies have the same enchantment and level as the original
• This is much faster than finding multiple enchanted books through fishing or loot

Use this to quickly outfit multiple pieces of armor with Protection, or give several tools the same utility enchantment.
