Clone Fully Enchanted Gear Onto a Blank Base Item

Why Clone Gear

Cloning copies all enchantments from a fully upgraded item onto an unenchanted copy of the same item type. This lets you create duplicates of your best gear without re-enchanting or grinding for books.

How to Clone

1. Open an anvil

2. Place your fully enchanted item in the left slot

3. Place an unenchanted copy of the same item in the right slot

4. Confirm the operation for 25 experience levels

5. The blank item now has all enchantments from the original

What You Need to Know

• Both items must be the same type (e.g., two chestplates, two swords)
• The enchanted item is consumed
• The blank item must have full durability
• All enchantments and their levels transfer exactly
• This costs more than duplication but is cheaper than re-enchanting

When to Use This

Clone your best armor set, duplicate a perfectly enchanted sword, or create backup copies of rare enchanted tools. Much faster than enchanting from scratch.
