Install Ventilation and Air Duct Details
Vent Block Types
The mod includes standard wall vent blocks and double cross vents for more elaborate air circulation systems. These blocks are purely decorative but essential for authentic laboratory detailing.
Placement Strategy
1. Install single vent blocks on flat wall surfaces at regular intervals, typically spaced evenly along chamber perimeters
2. Use double cross vents at intersections or in larger open areas to suggest major air flow points
3. Align vents vertically or horizontally depending on your chamber's architectural style
4. Combine vents with blackplate panels to frame them as integrated wall systems
5. Place vents near test zones or hazardous areas for thematic consistency
Creating Duct Networks
While these blocks don't function mechanically, you can enhance the illusion by running them along walls in patterns. Group multiple vents together in one area to suggest a major ventilation hub. Pair them with other architectural elements like corner pieces and slabs to create the impression of a sophisticated climate control system supporting your test chambers.
